Japan cartoon Twitter campaign underway to attack ISIS
Japanese Twitter users have been targeting Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) through the social media site by heralding accounts affiliated with the group with cute images of a manga-style character called ISIS-chan on Wednesday, reported the Haaretz.
The Japanese anti-ISIS campaign trailed a request by ‘Hacktivist’ group Anonymous, which published a list of over 700 Twitter accounts affiliated with ISIS.
Several tweets have been seen with the manga character poking fun at the extremist group.
