Shoukry Meets Ashton on “Gaza International Conference” sidelines

Ambassador, Badr Abd El Atti, Foreign Ministry Spokesman, said that EU Foreign Affairs Chief, Catherine Ashton, confirmed during her meeting with Sameh Shoukry on the important of the bilateral relationships between both sides.
Moreover, she expressed her desire for more notable developments in various Fields including; economic, investment, trading, and political one.
Abd El-Attie said both shoukry and Ashton discussed the development situation in Palestine, additionally; Ashton praised the Egyptian Role in achieving a cease-Fire between Palestinian and Israeli sides.
She also congratulated Egypt for “Gaza Reconstruction international Conference” success, which stressed Egypt’s return to its regional role.
Noteworthy, yesterday, Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton on the sidelines of a Cairo-hosted conference on the reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.
