Metro Authority reconsiders electrified train project

Metro Authority is preparing a complete file on the "electrified train" project to be presented to the Transport Minister within days, as the Minister Dr. Jalal Said is willing to study this project again, after the former minister Saad Aljyoshy canceled it.

An official at the ministry said that the "electrified train” project will be brought forth for discussion before Transport Minister Dr. Jalal Said as quick as possible to alleviate the pressure on the first and second lines of metro and relieve traffic congestion crisis.
