4.2 magnitude earthquake hits Egypt

An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale was felt by the residents in Egypt’s capital of Cairo and the seaport city Suez on Friday evening, according to Observatories and Research Facilities for European Seismology (EMSC), Egypt Independent reported.
The earthquake, according to an Egyptian seismology research center, was centered 30 kilometers south of Suez, Al Arabiya News learned.
"No damages have been reported as a result to the earthquake so far," Jad Abd Rabbuh, a researcher at the institute told Al Arabiya News.
